SEARAC led our first state-level legislative campaign to call for data disaggregation for AAPI communities through our “All California Counts” campaign. Our multi-pronged campaign included legislative advocacy, executive advocacy, grassroots organizing, and communications. Our partnership with Everyday Impact Consulting and working with CatherinaNou as our campaign coordinator was critical in our successful campaign to pass historical legislation for our communities. Cat’s leadership empowered our coalition to make difficult decisions, and her sound recommendations on political calculus at critical points during our campaign demonstrated her exemplary skills, experience, and knowledge of the Capitol through her past experience as chief of staff. Catherina exemplifies the power of Everyday Impact Consulting as a unique bridge of professionals with both cultural competency and skills and knowledge to navigate political systems, guiding and working in partnership with organizations like SEARAC to further social justice for the most vulnerable communities.

Due to their ability to effectively navigate the California State Legislature, EIC contributed to the success of Asian Americans Advancing Justice – California’s 2016 state policy work. Having a dependable and progressive partner through EIC, Advancing Justice – California was able to extend its reach in making lasting and positive impacts on California communities through state legislation.”

As a small non-profit, My Sister's House needed Everyday Impact Consulting services to help evaluate a special regional domestic violence project. Everyday Impact is made of team members that are smart, talented, easy to work with, and understand non-profit challenges. As an Executive Director, they made my life easier this year and more importantly, helped My Sister's House tell its story.
Tyrone Roderick Williams, Director of Development, Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency
Last Fall, Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment decided to apply for a highly competitive Federal HUD grant. Not only was the application multi-faceted with a very limited timeline to complete (just over a month) but the application would require City, County, and community-based support. We selected Everyday Impact Consulting to join our team to assemble the application. They were an essential element with helping us convene all of the necessary partners and craft an award-winning application. Everyday Impact Consulting was the perfect partner and they were 100% committed to helping us be successful.
